FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How does Nd:YAG laser toning work?
A 1064 nm Q-switched Nd:YAG laser is passed evenly and repeatedly over the whole face at low energy to break melanin pigment into fine particles.
Why are several sessions needed?
Melasma is a pigment that can darken if stimulated too strongly, so it is managed over several low-power sessions. About 10–20 minutes per session, 5–10 sessions every 1–2 weeks.
What should I be careful about afterwards?
Mild redness or a warm feeling may last a few hours. Please use sunscreen without fail, and avoid scrubs and peels for a few days before and after treatment.
