About this treatment
Men's hair removal is performed with the Apogee Elite+, calibrated for the thicker, denser character of men's hair. Beard follicles sit deep and grow coarse, so they call for more energy and more sessions than typical women's treatments. With dual 755 nm and 1064 nm wavelengths, we handle everything from beard line design to body areas such as the chest, back, and legs — each treated according to its own characteristics.
HOW IT WORKS
How it works
Thicker hair means deeper follicles that demand more energy — which also makes careful management of burn risk essential. Depending on your skin tone and the area, we select between the 755 nm wavelength, with its high melanin absorption, and the 1064 nm wavelength, which reaches deep safely — targeting only the follicle, with continuous cooling. Because the laser affects only growth-phase hair, repeated sessions timed to the cycle progressively thin the density.

AFTERCARE GUIDE
Aftercare & cautions
- ·Avoid waxing and plucking for two to four weeks before treatment. Shaving is fine.
- ·Beard areas may show redness and small bumps around the follicles for a few days after treatment.
- ·For one week after treatment, avoid saunas and steam rooms, and be diligent with sun protection.
- ·Beard follicles run deep and call for a full course of sessions; the number needed and the results vary from person to person.
