Gold PTT is a treatment that targets overactive sebaceous glands — the root cause of acne. Gold nanoparticles are absorbed deep into the sebaceous glands within the pores, then activated with a laser; as the particles take up the light energy, they selectively shrink the glands. It tackles at its source the acne that keeps returning despite topical and oral medication, while the LaLa Shot provides complementary care for oil and breakouts.

Acne begins with overactivity of the sebaceous glands. Gold PTT opens the pores with a deep cleanse, infuses a gold nanoparticle ampoule down into the glands, and then applies a laser at a specific wavelength. The gold particles convert the laser energy into heat, selectively shrinking overactive glands while keeping damage to surrounding healthy tissue to a minimum. The goal is to reduce oil production itself — without long-term antibiotics.
