How does Toderma Gold PTT work?
After deep cleansing opens the pores, a gold-nanoparticle ampoule is absorbed into the sebaceous glands and a laser of a specific wavelength is applied. The gold particles turn the laser energy into heat to target overactive sebaceous glands.
How long does it take, how often, and what is recovery like?
About 30–40 minutes per session, 3–5 sessions every 1–2 weeks. Temporary redness, dryness or light flaking may occur. During the course, avoid scrubs and peels and pay extra attention to moisturising and sun protection.
How do Gold PTT and LalaShot differ?
The procedure is the same; the difference is the particle absorbed into the sebaceous glands. Gold PTT uses gold nanoparticles, while LalaShot uses graphene-oxide platinum (graphene + platinum) nanoparticles.
